FAQ
How do I determine my wrist size?
Wrap a piece of string around your wrist so that it is a comfortable fit. Mark the
length, then measure the length of the string in inches using a tape measure
or ruler. To ensure the ideal fit our cuffs come in three
sizes: (small 5.5"to 7")(medium 6.5" to 8.5) and (large 9"+).
Why should I wear a Medic ID
Bracelet?
The American Medical Association recommends that people with hidden medical conditions
wear an alerting device on their wrist or neck with information that a medical technician
would benefit to know if treating you in an emergency situation. Symptoms of some
conditions that may warrant a medic alert bracelet include dizziness, confusion, disorientation,
impaired motor skills, lack of balance and slurred speech, all of which may be mistaken
for intoxication or mental disturbance. In some cases, symptoms can also include loss
of consciousness or seizures, both of which can be fatal if not treated promptly.
What if my LifeWear does not fit or breaks?
All of our bracelets have a one-year guarantee. If the cuff is too big or too small,
we will replace it for free within thirty days of purchase.
Does it matter what medical condition or allergy I have?
You may have any condition or information engraved on the back of the medical identification
plate.
Are my LifeWear bracelets interchangeable?
The medical ID plates are attached to the cuff by two snaps and leather straps. This
allows for easy access to medical information and enables you to mix and match with
different color leather cuffs or medical alert symbols.
Can I wear my LifeWear bracelet in the shower, while swimming,
or while surfing?
It is not recommended that you immerse your leather bracelet in water.
